I'm back into the blogging business now that work is starting to be less time consuming and less tiring. It's amazing how not having the stress of state testing looming over you makes for more enjoyable work days! That and the fact that we only have 15 days of school left~
I was thinking how pitiful it was that my last big entry on here was for Bailey's 1 year birthday, and here we are almost 6 months later! I think part of the reason was that I have been spending so much more time on Facebook other than updating my blog, but my priority is now my blog because I want to be able to show it to her when she gets older.
What's new with Bailey Catherine?
She just started saying "please" regularly without encouragement, and that is so huge! I loved hearing her say it for the first time when she asked for a banana the other day. I give credit to Miss Brandi, because I know how wonderful she is with the girls. We are so lucky to have her as Bailey's daycare provider.
"Outside" is probably her favorite word, and we love that she enjoys spending so much time outside. I can't wait for summer to be here so that we can go on "field trips" together.
I planted a fruit and vegetable garden a few weeks ago, and Bailey loves checking it out everyday with me and loves getting soaked while I water it. The splash park at our pool is going to be a huge hit this summer!
Bailey had her first snowball (ok, snow cone) a few days ago with her summer friends, Garrett and Gaitley. I call them summer friends because we don't see them nearly as often as we should. Her snowcone was clear coconut, and she was so cute just dipping her spoon and licking it. She was so happy!
Garage sales, antique stores, and flea markets...that pretty much sums up our Mother's Day weekend! We had such a blast enjoying all three! I love that Bo enjoys it as much as I do, and Bailey is always such a trooper. Bailey gave me a hummingbird charm for my bracelet, and Bo gave me some goodies from my favorite bath store, LUSH! I've been blessed with a sweet family~
